Winner 2009: Valley Pools
The votes are in and the winner of the 2009 Tara
Liners Ultimate Makeover Contest is Valley Pools of Madison,
Alabama. Ronny Hughes owner of Valley Pools said it was a great
experience and he was looking forward to hanging his first place
plaque up for customers to see. Robler Taylor, Sales Manager for
Valley Pools said, "It was fun to get involved. We set it up so our
customers could vote when they came in the store and they were just
as excited as we were towards the end!"
This unique contest is an opportunity for pool
dealers to show off their vinyl liner pool remodeling projects.
Each entry of before and after photos was posted on the Tara Liners
website. Visitors to the site voted on their favorite project and
the top three received prizes. Valley Pools received the most votes
with S.C. Splash Pools of Union City, Missouri and Harmon's Pool
and Spa Repair of Battlefield, Missouri coming in second and third
respectively. Each of the top three was awarded a plaque and a
prize. Robert Taylor said that they would use the 42" Panasonic
Television (the prize for first place) in their store to display
pool projects that they had worked on.
Tara Liners would like to thank all the
dealers and installers who participated in the contest. "Many of
these transformations were just incredible," said Ron Shults, Tara
Liners national sales director. "It is amazing to see the level of
creativity and craftsmanship in this industry. I'm
proud to be able to show off what pool professionals are capable of
and help them receive some recognition for their hard work.
